The next morning we started our last stage. At the outskirts of Saint James we followed the shortest path to reach the Cathedral, we walked along Saint Peter Street, crossed Door Way and went up Royal Houses Street.
Anne bought a red rose in a stall , and from the on we were surounded by stone everywhere>; beneath our feet, magnificent churches, squares, buildings, fountains: Then we went down Jot Street and then left into "The Quintana", an impressive square just beside the Cathedral...time was passing slowly there for people..enjoying the best angle for a picture, souvenirs, a refreshment or the sound of a guitar played beautifully under one of the archades on the South side of the square. But we were eager to visit the tomb of the Apostle after so long walk, after so many dangers and pain, and now our dream was getting true, we were fulfilling all our hopes and we also had to accomplish our promises.
So after washing our hands in the "Fountain of the Little Horses", we entered the Cathedral. The "Botafumeiro" was working and the Temple was filled with a nice smell of incense.

We just stood there.. feeling the most peaceful atmosphere you can imagine!
